
The La Grange Railroad Museum & Learning Center in La Grange, Kentucky is housed in a historic 1914 L&N train depot. Indoor exhibits include unique artifacts, displays, and learning center.

The We have multiple model train displays, featuriing a large scale HO layout containing over 800 feet of track. Our lower level also features kid-friendly train tables including a unique, custom 14ft wooden train table!

We have a 1929 American Car & Foundry dining car (available for rent), a caboose, Ernie the shunter, and the Flying Duchess, one of the few British locomotives located in the U.S.
Thanks to La Grange Tourism funding, the 1929 dining car was fully restored and reopened on November 8, 2023. New exterior and interior paint, flooring, windows, insulation and HVAC units were added to add decades more life to our historic dining car.
