The La Grange Railroad Museum & Learning Center in La Grange, Kentucky is housed in a historic 1914 L&N train depot. Indoor exhibits include unique artifacts, displays, and learning center.

We have multiple model train displays, featuring a large scale HO layout containing over 800 feet of track. Our lower level also features kid-friendly train tables including a unique, custom 14ft wooden train table!

We have a 1929 American Car & Foundry dining car (available for rent), a caboose, Ernie the shunter, and the Flying Duchess, one of the few British locomotives located in the U.S.
The La Grange Railroad Museum is a 501(c)(3) organization operated by passionate volunteers. We pride ourselves on sharing railroad history with FREE Admission. However, your support and contributions will enable us to continue operations and fund future projects. Your generous donation will fund our mission of BRINGING RAILROAD HISTORY TO LIFE in La Grange.
